Sad news. John ‘paddy’ Hemingway, the final battle of Britain pilot, has passed away aged 105

:salute:
The last of the few. Just finished a really dry book on James Madison, I think I could use some Battle of Briton for a change.

I've been watching SAS Rogue Heroes and now have 4 new books to read on them and Mad Paddy Mayne as well as some SAS jeeps to build when I can get down stairs to do them.
As I read of each WWII flyer passing into the great skies above it makes me sadder at losing my Dad and Mom. Bomber and Bombee from the the last great war.
Also makes me sad that 2 world leaders have decided that WWIII should come along sooner than later and are copying the worst of the worst from the last war.

Well , the last of a tough generation is nearly gone. The older I get , the less I believe anything about war is great .
In the end, everyone looses. Just some more than others.
Still like airplanes though . Amazing machines that required brave men to fly them .
