Hi there.

I'm Peter and I live in Canada.

I build mostly armor, artillery, wheeled vehicles and figures all in 1/35 scale and I prefer styrene kits over resin ones. At this time I am focusing primarily on the Israeli Defense Forces but I do build some WW2 armor. At least I do if I'm not converting it to an Israeli variant. ;<) VBG

I have a few kits of modern tanks that I will be building just to show the development of tanks from the early WW1 My IV Female and Male tanks and the WW1 Whippet light tank.

I really enjoy creating scenes wherein the story of the vehicle and figures I model reflect the deeds of the real-life items and men who crewed or manned them.

I also have built a couple of Lindberg 1/32 scale PT boats and have built them so that they can be operational on the water via radio-control.

I hope to learn some tips here and I'm also very willing to share any tips and tricks I have already learned or developed.

I also like WW2 close-support aircraft in 1/48 scale as a sideline.

Thanks to Shawn for making this forum known to me.

And another thanks to the forum owner for allowing me to be a member here.

Cheers from Peter

G'day Peter ,

Oh~~you're a friend of Shawn's. We'll have to keep an eye on this one y'all. But in the mean time, where are the pictures Peter?!

Hi Peter.

Welcome to T&T. It's a great place, even though they let me in here every once in a while  . So knock around and check the place out,and maybe share some of your work with us all. Maybe even consider joining one of our group builds like the Braille Scale build or Noel's Duel in The Desert (even Israeli stuff) group build. They are lots of fun.

Hi there.

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

In the wingy thingys, I build mostly WW2 fighters that would have been used by Canadians. I also have a couple of 1/48 scale lawn-darts (aka jets ;<) VBG) that served with the Royal Canadian Air Force. They are the CF-100 Mk IV heavily reworked with a sliding canopy and removable engine panels to expose an Orenda engine in the right hand nacelle; a CF-105 Arrow and a CF-104 Starfighter. The CF-100 Mk IV is an on again off again project and it still has a ways to go to completion.

I have also built some kits of post-war prop-driven aircraft and painted them to match Royal Canadian Navy aircraft. I have a Seafire, A Hawker Sea Fury and TBF Avenger. The Avenger is still a work in progress. I have the Belcher Bits conversion set forthe Avenger.

Cheers from Peter

Peter,
Welcome aboard... :eek:hmy: Glad to see you finally made it...
You really ruined your image by putting my name with it.
But I'm sure once you post some pictures and share some of those
(millions) of idea's and how to's they will forget you ever
mentioned my name and welcome you into the fold without a flaw like
me being attached to your name. :woohoo:  :blink
Like I said, you will love it here as everyone will be as helpful
as can be.
Enjoy and keep in touch.

You have to show the Clunk. I have the Hobby craft 1/48 kit but have only built 1 and that was eons ago. Would love to see yours. I've been kicking around the idea of scratching one in 1/32 scale. But no initiative unfortunately. Look forward to your builds, especially the Cdn stuff. What kind of sucks is, I've started a 104 and I've worked on clunks a bit also.

Hi there.

It took a bit of work and searching the FAQ section but I finally figured out how to create a Gallery of my own and to also create sub-folders within it and add images to them.

I created a number of galleries but I still have to take some images of my CF-100 Clunk. Therefore there aren't any images of it posted by me yet.

Thanks again for the warm welcomes.

Cheers from Peter

Hi Peter,

welcome to the site. Glad to hear you figured out the gallery, Moonpup will be very happy to hear that...
