Reality in scale Buddha and other jungle stuff . Added clay root system and tree . Palm trunk was made using a paper towel with ribbed pattern .

Very realistic effects, I dig it. I'd like to know more about making the palm trees.

I used an appropriate sized wooden dowel , soaked it overnight in water so I could bend it some .
I used a paper towel with some ribbed pattern on the towel , wrapped it around the dowel , adhered with diluted wood glue .
The leaves on my first palm were cut by me from some real leaves . Thin wire underneath the fronds .
I used some Reality in scale palm fronds I had for the second tree .
Coconuts were carved from some small wooden bits .
