Small patch of open water in the marina and took some pics of this fella.

Really neat! I used to deer hunt by sitting the back side of a massive 10+ year old beaver dam. The place I chose was a clump of small trees, placing me in a very good "Hull Down" position to the banks on two sides, and with my head at nearly the level of the water I would see ducks come cruising by, they were neat to watch!

Saul this is based on the experimental J2X1 stealth. Found to be too small and slow to be practical. :rotf

Yes it was a glorious day out there and pain free to boot. Had to wear a sweater though. Only a few open pools and the ice is still pretty thick. Did enjoy the ducks and seagulls doing their thing.
Here sre a couple of Loons doing a flyby over the ice. Love watching the wild life also, except early in the morning or late at night when the deer and moose like to share the road.

So for the rest of us that would be Parka weather? :rotf :good:

Great outdoors is some of the best therapy :zen :zen :coolio

Totally T shirt weather. But the lake is still frozen over mostly and the breeze over it is freezing.
Some more. The lake, a gull patrolling the ice and Clark's General store eatery. If I remember my history its one of the oldest buildings and started as a store. Hand painted aluminum tiles in the ceiling. Became a mini museum and restaurant.

Very cool James! My uncle built himself a cabin in the Adirondacks and I thoroughly enjoy all the wildlife there!
