Are the markings the only difference in these kits Saul?
Aside from different decals, there are differing extras... some releases give you 'kabuki' or vinyl masks, other releases provide only mask templates on the instructions, in some kits you get PE or some 3D parts. The actual plastic sprue trees are the same as they have all the variations with the exception of the recon variants (F-6C).

I imported a few 1/72 Arma Hobby airplane kits for tlarmodels.com.
They are exquisite and quite complex. For my own builds, I think 1/72 Revell Ag, Tamiya and Academy kits will be my choice.
Fewer chances for flaws in less intricate models.
