The first of Canada's new TAPV's (Tactical Armoured Patrol Vehicle) arrived at 5[sup]th[/sup] Division in Gagetown, NB. It is a larger and heavier version of the M1117 Commando armed with a RWS with a C6 7.62mm MG and 40mm grenade launcher. The general utility version has a 3 man crew and room for 4 infantrymen. The reconnaissance version will have a 4 man crew and a surveillance suite.

Neat, bet a vehicle like that would be good for picking up chicks in Minsk. :soldier

I've had a hankerin' to do something with wet rain streaks running down it. Flat surface with high gloss streaking ending up in a drop on a over hanging edge. I think it could be done you know?

Really neat! Can't help wondering what those four posts are on top of each vehicel, and the reason for the rubber mask up front?

The 4 posts are antenna mounts. The rubber was there for transport.

Rich
