Need HELP from my GERMAN friends!!! PLEASE!!

I have a favor to ask of my German friends. I was a Military Policeman in Baumholder back in the early 80's and I had a very dear friend who was a Polizei. He and I were the same age, now almost 50, and he worked Mainz. We kept in touch for several years but as life goes so did ours and we lost touch. I was looking through some stuff today and it dawned on me to see if any one could help me. My German is no longer anything like it used to be and his parents at the time spoke little to no English. I looked up his information and the name I have matches the same number in Baumholder. I am not sure if he is still there but was hoping someone could please help me track him down so that we could reconnect and talk about our families now.

Just to let those who viewed this post that I tried a German friend on Planet Figure, who took the info I had and was able to use some of it to get in touch with him! Now after almost 26 years, I actually shared an email with him!
