Anyone know of a source for drawings of a MG42 ammo box? Preferrably with dimensions.

Did some googling Tom, as I'm sure you have and I don't find any specific dimensions. Hope one of our research guys have something.

308/7.62 Can Internal: 13.8" x 2.8" x 6.5"

This appears to be the ammo box in use today, which is similar,
just a wee bit slimmer than the WWII issue.
