Smart move by Italeri to release a 1/12 McLaren MP4/2C
Tamiya used to do a 1/12 MP4/6 and they fetch up too £800 on ebay. This could capture a huge market and kill the Tamiya crazy prices dead overnight.

I have to say i am very impressed with the last 2 vintage cars in 1/12 from Italeri and i hear their Lancia delta and Bugatti recently released are as goo if not better. Its nice to see a manufacturer filling a hole in the market.

A saying in the UK is you wait for ages for a bus then 5 turn up together..........Is this Meng kit the old Tamiya kit or is it the new Italeri kit or is a new mould ?

I believe i heard it to be a new mold from Meng, but I am not the authority. Interesting subjects though.

Look what happened with the F-4 kits in the last year or two....
It is an odd subject choice to get multiples of though...
