We found out that some folks are not getting our monthly emails so I want to post it on the forum also. Here we can discuss the content of the email and also work out any problem you may have if you're not receiving it.

Greetings to the members of the Modelers Alliance,

First order of business is the announcement of our new logo created by Chuck Wojtkiewicz (that's our very own Chukw). Check out the site as soon as you can to see our new banner. Once again a big thank you to Chuck for taking time from his busy schedule to create some more of this great artwork for the site.

Seeing how we have a new banner we figure it's time to open the Tee shirt shop again. We use Logosportsware.com to host our products. We have bowling shirts for that "Charlie" look, Baseball Jerseys, Polos, and plan ol' tee shirts to pick from, you can also customize your item and even change it to any thing in their catalog. 15% of the sales goes to the cost of running the website in our subscriptions and hosting fees. So not only are you representing Modelers' Alliance at the next show you're also supporting the upkeep of your modeling site. If you don't see an item you'd like to have let the staff know.

Last month we teased some news about the future of the Fall Figure Festival. Now that it's come to a close and it has been so successful we would like to make it a permanent feature at Modelers' Alliance. We are changing the name to Fettes' Figure Frenzy in honor of the bloke who came up with the idea to start with, Modelers' Alliance's own Pathfinder and Gold Medal Winning figure artist Andy Fettes. Andy will be heading up the FFF, it will be a subforum off "Go Figure" forum where you can post your finished Figures. Fettes' Figure Frenzy will be for full "work in progress" threads where our team of figure painters can help, encourage, guide and inspire others to try their hand at painting and sculpting figures.

FORUM NEWS!!!

In "Ground Power" you have to check out Tony Lee and his Jagdpanzer IV Variants WIP. He is building FOUR different versions all at the same time. Really something to behold. While you are there, take a look as lots of building is going on down on the ground.

At "Wesendorf Field" check out Paddy's RAF Sqd 112 KittyHawk and Dewertus and his Fiat CR.42 Falco. Things are flying high over the field so be sure and take a look.

"In The Navy" Fledermaus is super detailing a SCHNELLBOOT S-100. What he is doing can't be described so it has to be seen. Hood and his Baltimore Clipper is a spectacle. All wood and brass. Be sure to take a gander.

"Go Figure" is all about figures and you have got to check TomN and his 1/16 Ardennes Tank Riders. Also Jrutman53 who is making a diorama based on a real photograph called "Near Cheux" June 27,1944" with amazing fidelity to the image.

"Lets Be Civil" is about hot rods, cars, trucks etc. and you have got to see Agentg's Mustang with a twist, where he is making up Ford Mustang to look like "Old Crow" of P-51 fighter fame. Really cool!!!

"Things to Come," our Sci-Fi forum is strangely quiet, but you shouldn't turn your back on these guys because just when you think it's safe.....WHAM a bunch of buddies comes in with some Pig Tanks!
