Sherman 18

Master at Arms
Okay this is my stalled project that I started for the "I hate flying thingys" group build.
Yeah my eyes were bigger than what time could allow for me. So a couple of weeks ago I was looking around saw it looking sad in the corner. My thought when I first started it was to build it out of the box. I ended up adding alittle here and alittle there, nice thing is now I'm getting back into it and enjoying the time. I even got paint on it now.

Hey getting somewhere now. Faded the camo just a bit, pulled the tape off and snot off Kinda liking it now.

Very nice camo application- looks like you have good control of the airbrush B) Nice build overall, now, finish it!

A small update. Got it cleared coated yesterday morning, and did not get back to it untill late tonight. Gave the thing a oil paint wash and had a little acting up in spots - read did not get everything cleared. Anyways I played with it some and tried my hand on doing some rain streaks with oil paint. That is where it sits as of now. I'm still on the fence as of the rain marks.

Nice and interesting vehicle. I think you did a nice work with the airbrush. Will you add a subtle pin wash? I think it´ll add an interesting looking to the vehicle.

Within this year, I´d like to make a M113A2 Ambulance from the Spanish Army (1970) ... my first modern vehicle. And I like the way you made the rain marks. They´ll be an inspiration for me!. Keep posting!
