I read in yesterdays paper that Cpl. Frank Buckles, the last official WWI vet,died peacefuly Sunday. He was 110. It also stated that after the war, he traveled the world as a persur on comercial ships. In 1941 he was taken as a civilian POW of the Japanese in Manilia, when they attacked. He indeared 38 months of hell, then was freed during a surprize US raid. This truely a sad passing of an entire generation. REST IN PEACE my hero........... Harv
