I haven't built a vehicle since 1970... or maybe it was 71, who remembers?

Anyway, a fellow MA'r has encouraged me to build an M3 Stuart, "The Haunted Tank" (he is holding my grandchildren hostage in a colonial era fort located in a sub-Saharan country)

Those of us who remember The great WW2 comics featuring Nick Fury and his Howling Commandos, GI Combat, Sgt Rock and Easy Company, and Enemy Ace (WW1) will appreciate the emotional tie that the M3 has for many of us.

So, now I will build a target. I am told it is fairly easy. It is going to have to be...

Anybody know where I can get a 1/35 Confederate State battle flag?

Yes, I can print one, but I was hoping for cloth so I can fly it from the antenna....

But first... I have to complete the tank...

And i AM NOT RELEASING EM UNTILL YOU FINISH!!!!

Looks like I am in same boat I will have to print out the battle flag for my one also.

Just to help inspire you a bit mate

A little background...

The Millisors fought in the Revolution. By the time the Civil War came around, my ancestors were Copperheads and were even married into the family of the ultimate Copperhead, Clement Vanlandingham.

There were relatives who fought for the Confederacy, but to my knowledge none were slave holders. And while the northern members of the family pronounce the name Mill-eye-zur, my more refined southern relatives pronounce it Mil-eh-sore... they changed to durning WW1 because it sounded too German.

Well, hell yes, where do you think the family came from?

Since then we have gotten our act together, sort of... maybe....

Looks like some great inspiration to me. I used ti read the WWII comics as well. Thanks for the look back in(literary) history.
