Colour of viewblock armoured glass on M1 & M2 IFV?

I see in a lot of images that the view block glass on many M1 Abrams and M2 Bradleys appears to be a red colour. Is that just a trick of the light due to the angle of the light hitting the view block glass? Should all the view block glass be painted clear blue?

If you're referring to the reflective coating (colors change, depending on light, from orange to purple) you can use the ready made film from Echelon Fine Transfers or AFV Club. They both have pre-cut sets for specific kits while the latter also has a complete (rather small) sheet you cut yourself.
