I especially like the ICM's Henschel 33D1 WWII German Army Truck. It
has lots of good detail on it. I am glad to see more trucks, and
cars coming out on the market.

..... A while back I picked up a 1/35 scale, Mercade Benz, (L 4500/A), Heavy German
Cargo Truck The model is made by ZVEZDA. For a Russian made model it is very
well done. I was surprised at the attention to detail. The model also comes with
a complete engine, and you may have the side engine compartment doors open, to
show it off.

Thanks for your kind words. You said you got L 4500/A, I wonder which version, Zvezda offers three:

I had 2 versions built:
1. L4500S

2. L4500R

All versions come with engine, but L4500R also comes with a mechanic as seen in the picture above.

Thanks again... More kits are coming such as BTR-40, PT-76, Sd.Kfz. 6/2 3.7cm Flak, Crusader III AA MK.I, GMC Bofors 40mm Gun, etc.

Great build........ I like both of them .........

It appears that I have the first one. The engine detail is great. No need to buy
a third party engine set here. Also the transmission and drive train, and suspension
is out standing. I look forward to other models from this model maker...

Mike, so you got the l4500S. The latest offer from Zvezda is Russian T-90 which has been available before Christmas. Do you think you'll get one?

Ar you going to enter into any of the builds. You should
build one of the Japanese WW_II ships. There are plenty
of good ones on the market.

You seem to prefer trucks more than tanks. For me it's the other way round because tanks are armed while trucks aren't. As for WWII ships, one of my modelers has been working on Hasegawa's IJN Aircraft Carrier Akagi 1:350 w/ PE Upgrade Sets A,B,C and SuperDetail Set, w/ PitRoad's IJN Seaman WWII since January 2011 and another modeler has been working on Dragon's German Battleship Scharnhorst 1943 1:350 + Dragon's Scharnhorst Upgrade Set + MK1's Scharnhorst Detail-Up Set + MK1's Scharnhorst Wooden Deck since September 2011. I hope Akagi will be finished this year and Scharnhorst in late 2013 or early 2014.
