Air meet in North Carolina

phantom II

Master at Arms
A few weekends ago I had a rare opportunity to escape the remodeling dust storm at my house, so I went to the local airstrip and took a few pictures.

Nothing Earth shaking but a couple hand fulls of kit planes and some nice oldies :snoopy

Hope you enjoy . Cheers Christian B)

Some very cool planes there Chris. That little white number with the fore and aft top and bottom wings with anhedral and dihedral looks just all kinds of wrong. Know anything about her? Must be an experimental.
Thanks for sharing these.
James

I sure don't James . Most of these did not have the owner around to answer any possible questions .

It is a kit build plane ,but I don't recall any of the kits having any marking to identify what they might be.

Looks like some toy from Honk Kong to me . :rotf

Cheers, Christian B)

Wow, all that right in our back yard! And I missed it. :( Glad you could make it and thanks for sharing.

Yeah that's a kit plane but I be dang if I can remember who makes it. I remember reading a website about it. Said to goes together like a model, each step is inspected by an FAA inspector before the next shipment is sent out.
