A Custom Cadillac Fit For A Queen

Built for the Queen's 1959 Royal Tour of Canada, it is based on a 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 with a Landaulet body style. The rear had a plexiglass cover in case of inclement weather. It was transported to the cities she was visiting by an RCAF CC119 Boxcar.

The car is in the possession of the Canadian Automotive Museum. It's not on public display but has been brought out for special occasions.

Just read a bit more on the Caddie. It was used by JFK and Jackie during thier visit to Ottawa in May 1961. (Minus the Royal Standard on the roof.)
