    On your shelf

If you are like me you have a heap of kits being "displayed" on the shelves in some room in the house, in the vain hopes that someone other than the cat and dust devils take an interest in them. So show us your shelves!

Here is a 3D printed battlemech called the "madcat" or "timber wolf". I like the larger sizes as I can kit bash the machine and super detail it.

sadly no. I don't know anyone. I have had some large battlemechs done up and a Warlock from Babylon 5. I got them from the US, the Aussie dollar is crap at the moment and shipping is through the roof! Cost me $50 US to get some PE here..

I don't always model military stuff and sometimes do Sci Fi and fantasy, though I think the field is rather limited and very expensive ( that seems to be the gripe with ALL the modellers everywhere!). So when I see these fellas pop up, I grab them. A real joy to paint and the wife actually likes...

    Master Box "Reaper"

Looked very closely at their "Western series" and found that the cavalry figures that they produced were historically inaccurate ( I used to to do living history many years ago and am a touch obsessed with accuracy LOL) so really haven't had anything to do with them, I have been getting my...

Built this one last year, not really impressed with Master Box, mouldings are soft and fit of parts is awful, I added the GSD, which could do with a repaint.

    G'day from Tasmania

Yes I have the Canberra in 1/48 (Airfix) but am not sure whether to do it as South African or Rhodie, I have a DC 3 that I will do as Rhodesian and a Vampire as well. In the stash is a 1/48 Airfix Buccaneer, I'm too frightened to look at that one.....umming and ahhing about a armor diorama with...

Which end of the state are you looking at, houses are generally cheaper here, but we only have the one model shop and that is in Hobart! I usually go through BNA for paints and stuff

    G'day from Tasmania

I have just finished the Trumpeter BREM-1, a very nice kit, but the instructions on some places are very vague. Started the Ryefields T-55 and ran into real difficulties with the running gear, I will have to find a donor lower hull, the top will be Ryefield as the mouldings are superb.....the...

    G'day from Tasmania

Just joined, hello from literally the bottom of the world! I usually stick to 1/35 armor as mistakes (and I make lots!) can be covered up by mud, but will lash out on figures, ships and aircraft at times. I'm retired and have been that way since I fell off a SKOT APC, before that was a doggie...
