I now have all the parts so feeling a lot better about this build. Decals are on and top clears applied so once they go really hard i will try and cut the finish back. I have to say the decals are probably the best i have come across. Very thin but opaque so even white doesnt show the blue...

I posted a few weeks ago that there comes a point in life where you need to put yourself first. For some of us that is actually quite a realization and it means decisive decisions. Good luck mate and time spent posting your next build here is always better than time spent being wound up by FB :-)

It takes some getting used to after armour and aircraft that you need to paint cars and do the decals and clear coats before assembly

As far as i can ascertain from others its not unusual. One guy on large scale modeller said he was missing 75% of the metal parts :-) i suspect they have models they scavenge for parts for others and these sometimes get sent out by mistake. I probably wont bother again with these models, i have...

A full inventory of parts shows another 19 parts missing. interestingly there are 3 pages of metal parts in the parts list and i am missing all of one page so its not just random. More of a cock up in the packing Dept.
