Airfix F-80C - Farewell to my Alclad 'mule'

I need to get me another of those F-80s. I tried to do the one I have as a "Minutemen" aerobatic bird, but a Whole bunch of things went down the Porceline convenience. I still have a fresh set of decals, but now I need a kit and some masking skills for the Red / Silver paint job. Dave

Mystery M3 Lee Model = which variant?

You could always go a little crazy and build the M-3 from the original version of the movie "Sahara" with Humphrey Bogart. I'm thinking of that style for my 1/72 scale Airfix M-3. Just gotta come up with some markings for "Lulubelle". Have a lot of fun. Dave

Number 670 is Completed by the Duke.

I've seen pictures of it as well. Thats why I want to try it myself as well. I'll have to try to get them both from Squadron, if possible to build a WWI Tank Transporter w/tank. Dave

    LRDG Chevrolet

Wayne... I really like how your LRDG truck turned out. A lot better than my cobbled together 1/76 scale Matchbox kit turned out. Maybe I need to re-work the paint on all the accesories in the bed. Great job man. Dave

    1/48 Quonset Hut Scene...

You might want to get a second crew in there as well. They did billet more than one crew in barracks. And I also believe they also had bunks in the enlisted mens barracks. Nice work so far. Dave

Mark, that is one sweet looking build. That was something I was interested in putting together. I love how it all came together. Wonderful build my friend. I hope you put that in for the WWI group build, along with your Mk.IV. Congrats. Dave

    This is pretty cool!

Very nice video. We have our own show in Geneseo, N.Y. that is called " The Greatest Show on Turf". We don't get quite the crowds that they do in Oshcosh, but we do have a great little show. I have gone for several years and enjoy myself very much. Their B-17 is the one portrayed in the...

    1/48 Quonset Hut Scene...

I'm a little late getting into this party, but I'll say, that looks like it will be interesting whenits done. One comment on it though. That Bicycle should be either OD green or Flat navy gray, depending on the final setting. I don't think anyone had bikes in gloss colors on any bases, but...
