    Tamiya Sdkfz. 222

Hi WDS. I have always liked the little 222. And this old Tamiya kit is pretty nice. Especially considering how old it is. And you have done a great job on yours. The dusting you gave it really looks nice too. It's a great looking job as it sits now. Gary B)

    Leopard2's 1/72 RoG M1A1 HA Abrams

Once you get used to using it, it can do all kinds of stuff. Especially when you are working on light and shadow, or forced perspective and depth. If you have a good enough airbrush, you can even use it on figures :woohoo: . Gary B)

    Leopard2's 1/72 RoG M1A1 HA Abrams

Ohhh. And now it is starting to get some of the color variation and beginning of the weathering. And don't you just love that Tamiya Smoke? It is great stuff once you start playing around with it to see what it can do. Gary B)

    Did you know?

Did you know that a butterfly tastes with it's feet? I'm glad I don't have to do that, or everything would taste really really bad :pinch: Gary B)

    Did you know?

Did you know that every polar bears skin is black? But the fur is opaque (at least that is what someone smarter than me said ;) ) and looks white because of all the snow and ice, the black skin helps to collect and hold heat. Thanks miss smarteerer than me Jenny

    Did you know?

That as absolutley astoundingly large as the super red giant star Betelguese is, that there is something even bigger? It is in a class refered to as a hyper giant. And the largest that they know of so far is VY Canis Majoris. And it could hold over 8 stars the size of Betelguese inside of it...

    Shorty's Elefant & Famo 1/72

Hi John. That Elefant came out nice. And if you give it a wash and a flat coat, it will be perfect. And that Famo is looking nice too. I just can't get over how good these new 1/72nd scale kits look now with all the new molding tech they are using. Gary B)

Tamiya Diorama Texture Paint In The USA

I'm not so sure about coloring Mr Surfacer. Mostly because it starts out with it's own color. It would be easier to just apply Mr S. then paint. Here is the stuff. If you click on the little color circle of each product, it will give you a little demo...

    1/48 scale Tamiya KW-II Leningrad

Hi John. That is a great job on the KW (KV :idonno). The ground work is fantastic. And I can hardly wait to see how the figures come out. I really like those little 1/48th scale kits, no matter how much some people complain about them. In fact if I didn't have sooooooo much money invested in...

    Sicily 1943 (spring)

Hi Yago. This already looks like it is going to be fantastic. I like the idea of having the ground sloping down like the real thing. :thumbsup Gary B)

    Did you know?

Speaking of beetle juice  . Did you know that the red in most lipsticks (and most other makeup products that are red or pink for that matter) comes from squishing beetles up into a pulp to get a specific chemical (caramine or cochineal)to use as a dye? Think about that the next time...

I want in on this, but..............

Yeah ole #52 is kinda cool. One thing is for certain. If you added the fans in the stands, when you were done, you would be a figure painting expert :pinch: . And for a title you could use one of three. 1. Hi Mom. 2. Look, no hands. 3. Just for Moon Puppy ;) . "Hey everyone, watch...

Realistic finish to machine guns...the EASY way.

Thanks Jo Anne. :thumbsup and thanks Laura for the link. :) It looks like there is really just about eveything you could ask for with the diffrent colors. There is a brown which would cover everything from the 1860's and older, because they did not blue barrels back then. They browned them...

    Iron Mike's Jagdpanther

Wow ! Now that is a nice looking Jagd Panther. It is great just the way it is now. But a little dust and mud here and there could make it beyond perfect (somehow ;) . Maybe you could ask Jenny for a little SBS on how to make muddy boot prints on the top like she did for her Night Panther :) ...
