    Did you know?

While you have 10 toes (assuming you are not polydactyly), you only have 8 fingers  ? Most people get that one wrong if you ask them. Gary B)

    One of the Vets

Hi Chris. Thank you soooooo much. This was one of those stories that make it so clear that it was not just a collection of fallable memories. But real, true fact. That transcended the multiple black and white photos that so many take so much for granted. To make us realise that it was all...

    Complete! Moon Puppy's PhantomII

One other trick that you can use to dry out something is to put it in the refrigerator. Any good frost free refrigerator will suck the moisture out of almost anything if you leave it in there for a day or two. Of course if you don't tell Mrs Moon Puppy you might not have to worry about moisture...

    Dwayne Pfister has passed away.

:( I can remember seeing his work in Scale Modeler waaaaaay back before there were aftermarket anything except the old white metal detail pieces. And he was doing fantastic scratch built things that were just amazing. It is a sad day because both, you have lost a long time friend. And we...

Replacement wheels for Dragons #6403 Panther F

Hi Joseph. A couple things might work for you here. First is to try some of the Asian mail order sites. I know that some of them used to sell individual sprues for Tamiya kits. And a wheel is a wheel, so you should be able to use a set of Tamiya steel wheels on just about anything with just a...

    Complete! Moon Puppy's PhantomII

Ohh-la-la ! That sure is a purdy lookin burd yah got there ;) . And I approve. And I wouldn't worry about the light weathering. As you stated, with that paint job, it is almost certainly a stateside bird. And would be in as new condition as possible by the air crew. :thumbsup Now it...

    How about the Vietnam-era?

moon puppy wrote: So long as it is not excessive, there is no problem if you use one or two pieces from a previously built kit. Or similarly a figure or two from previous work to go with the base kit would also be acceptable. But one or two pieces is about the limit. Then you begin to go...

    Ted's Panther

Hi Ted. That is one nice looking Panther. And it IS finished, but if you want to, you still have until tomorrow to try to get the side skirts dusted up and put on. But I personally have always liked the look of a Panther with no skirts myself. Gary B)

    Sherman 18's TT Calliope

Hiya Sherman. It is looking nice. And as far as slow drying time, you could speed it up a little bit by putting the pieces in a box with a low watt light bulb. About 40 watts is good. It helps to dehumidify the air in the box, and draw out the moisture quicker, and it is not hot enough to be...

    Mels Humvee

Hiya Mel. That is a great looking Hummvee. And it is even weathered :thumbsup . And the figure is great. Especially considering the scale and all :notworthy: . And I am almost in the same situation as Saul. I am not going to get my Graff Spee done on time. But then again, if it is done right...

    Hi All !

Hi Kenneth. Welcome to T&T. That is a great looking little Italian vignette. I'm sure that Jenny will really like it, because of the birds, which are really cool. So now just check the place out, and consider sharing some of your work with us here in the forums. Gary B)
