    Holy Water

Erik, Save that base for either a "Quick Base" which is what I call a generic base that you can throw together to view/photograph models on. And blast out one of these foam core board bases (in a day)... And foam core board is cheap... You can even sometimes get it at the Dollar Store. Sounds...

Well last night I went to Fred's (where we model as a group on Friday night). I managed to give the concrete a flat white coat of paint. Then hand brushed the bricks with an acrylic red. Next I will black wash everything on the base and start to weather it when I have the jeeps and figures...

Heck I liked the other bases you were thinking about too.. I do most if not all my camouflage by hand too... No worries there...

    Bodes "Well" for the Maquis

Jeeves, Love the layout and look so far... If you can't find the base you are looking for, just make one like I'm doing. Get a dollar store picture frame and some foam core board. Make the layout that you want. It's light and easy. See my base in the "Well Done" build log. Shawn

Thanks guys, Glad you liked them as much as I do. Erik, I know what you mean. I'm going to have to find them and purchase another set, as I can come up with a bunch of dio's where these would really come in handy. John, I think that AMPS was just a little early for them.
