    WWI paint colour and rigging

    If you use the "Invisible thread" for the rigging use the one called "Dark" as it is a smoke colour and saves you painting the thread to represent wire. :woohoo: Cheers. John

    Keeping brushes in good condition

    More expensive but Winsor Newton brush restorer is very good and cleans out all the old paint and also restores the bristles. I use this as a final cleaning on my brushes. P.S. I does not grow hair. :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy: Cheers John

    Andy, I could not give the colours before as I was not home. :blink: I use oils so the oils I use are as follows. Cadmium Red deep Cadmium red cadmium scarlet. This will give me three distinct shades of red and a final highlight of Cadmium orange. For the shadows I will mix veridian with the...
