Long time no update! Decals are on. The decals are much too flashy, as you can see on the pic above so I weathered them a good deal. First step: soften the decals with Micro Sol and sand them with 1500 grade sandpaper. This gives a randomly faded look. The difference can be seen between...

A.F.S. MkII ARMORED FIGHTING SUIT I see. A fine one wound around a thicker gauge I guess. Guitar string saves time but is harder to conform. Annealing helps. But nothing beats solder when it comes to shaping and conforming. The AFS looks great, especially after the dry-brushing. Love it! M
