    1/35 KOSBies

No problem Andy, but I might get a bit more painting done first. They're a little rough at the moment.

    1/35 KOSBies

Here are a pair of King's own Scottish Borderers as they fought their retreat across Belgium in 1914. They're ICM figures with sculpted caps. I really like ICM figures and wish they would continue with the interesting subjects like their Franco-Prussians and these WW1 models. They'll be in a...

    "Tobruk - November 1942" Diorama

I like your style of figure painting. Great use of the old Italeri British tank crew.

    BOMBER COMMAND"AIR GROUP ACTIVATED"

Re:BOMBER COMMAND"PLAYER COUNT 7" Does anyone make a 1/144 Halifax? My Grandpa was a radio operator in the 426th Thunderbird squadron during the war. I'd love to do a model of my Grandpa's plane plane to go with the 1/144 Hercules I built for my uncle who flew those when he was in the forces...

Wow Chris, you're almost done and I'm still collecting bits for my build. The scratchbuilding on the interior looks great.

Early M4A1... the curvy hulled one

Looking great Brad. Never thought of adding casting blemishes like that. The figure sculpt is a beauty.

    For the aspiring sculptors/figure converters

Thanks Rudi, that's an amazing resource. Those 1/48 French and Indian War figures are extremely nice for the small scale. I bought two of his 1/32 Napoleonic caricatures and was really impressed by the detail and low price. Ted

    New Highlander Vignette

    1/48 Academy Jagdpanzer ..... :^o !!!!!!!

I love it. It is great to see out-of-the-box builds by skilled modellers. That rabbit must be a rare kit.

    Berlin '45 Guidelines!

Thanks for the heads-up Laura. I usually build representative models. For the flak tower I'm working on, should I do more research and build a replica of an actual Berlin building or is a representation enough. I'm totally happy :) with either decision and would like to honour the spirit of...

    Juno Beach LCA

Here's my official start. The LCA comes with two nice metal bren guns. The figures will need a lot of work to match the reference photos.

    Accurate Armour 1/35th A39 Tortoise - finished

Great assembly and finish on this model. The barrel camo on this huge beast reminds me of the joke about how to hide an elephant in a strawberry patch...paint his toenails red.

    Flak Tower

Thanks guys. I noticed that colour too after I painted it. Now that the guns are glued on I'll leave it yellow. Thanks for the info Johnny, much appreciated. A friend at work mentioned that there is another book entirely about flak towers during the war but I haven't seen it.

    Flak Tower

By the way, I noticed that the 1/35 4 x 20mm Flak 38 by Bronco is in stock at Lucky Model and it looks really good.
