    Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Latest Acquisitions I was finally able to pick up one of these I had picked up some Tiger Air decals and a Revell A320, but, the Revell has the wrong engines. With airliners being a major personal interest of mine, I'm excited to finally get the proper kit to put those decals on. :thumbsup

    1/72 Airfix P-40, 403 Sqn., RCAF

I was able to get the interior base colors on my P-40, along with my 109. I enjoy these simple kits, they help me find peace in difficult times. I'm building this kit in company with the Me.109 for Messerschmitts. I start putting her together tomorrow and clean up the paint some. See you soon. :v

    1/72 Airfix Bf109E-4

I photograph all my builds as I'm going along, so I may as well share it beginning to end. The interior base colors are on, and being allowed dry time. ModelMaster enamels are used. Strictly an oob build; even using the molded in harness: Tomorrow I start putting this simple model together...

Expeditor Decals Coming From Belcher Bits

One of my all time favorite aircraft. Now I have to spend more on the hobby.

    1/72 Airfix P-40, 403 Sqn., RCAF

I model with the philosophy that you only live once, and not for long enough; so whats one more campaign to get me closer to building all the models I want to build. After I build that last one, then I can fade away. Here's the kit: A nice 1/72 kit with a nice decal choice, but, I hope for...

    WARHAWKS ON THE WAR PATH

When Airfix began their welcomed quest to modernize their product line, the Curtiss Hawk was the first new-tool I purchased. I never did start it, just cut parts off the sprue to see how the new kit would go together. With no glue or paint, but, with parts removed, is the kit considered exempt...

    Chevy II Rat Packer

Really very nice, Kevin. So do I; and due to the lack of track in small-town Alberta, it was usually down Main Street.

    1/72 Airfix Bf109E-4

This is the Me.109 kit I've chosen for the campaign, mostly because it's markings depict an aircraft whose pilot had a Canadian connection. The real aircraft was shot down in 1940 during the Battle of Britain, with the pilot (Franz Von Werra) being made POW and shipped across the Atlantic to...

    MIGHTY MESSERSCHMITTS

I've decided I am going to come in with the Airfix 1/72 109E-4. I'll blog up when I get a couple of photo's of the unstarted kit. The ribbon is very cool, and should be the start to fill an empty void in my case.

    Airfix 109 Just for fun

Well, darn. I actually wanted to build this kit for the upcoming Messerschmitt campaign, because I'm only building small now and there is a Canadian connection with Werra, this planes pilot. He's the only German POW that escaped (and wanted too) from captivity in Canada, and made it back to die...

    One More Canadian

Wow, that's quite a few warm welcomes. Thank you! Normally, I don't care to post photos of past work in a new forum I've joined, as the photos are already posted elsewhere. I'm offering a couple, though, just to show you what I do and where my interests are. Also, I'm testing to see if I can...

    One More Canadian

Hi. My name is Guy Bennett; my friends called me Ben in grade school, and its stuck all these years. It seems the older I get, my modelling subjects just keep getting smaller and smaller. Now, I build almost exclusively in 1/72 and 1/144. Its more or less inversely proportional to my eyesight...
