    1/35 KH MH-60L "Super 63"

Thanks guys for the kind words. My detail work pales in comparison to what I've seen here. You guys know how to make a plastic model look real! Hopefully mine will look good when completed. Tim

    1/35 KH MH-60L "Super 63"

While waiting for the gloss coat to dry on the F-14, I decided to do some work on the MH-60L. Those stripes were a pain in the *** to tape up using 1.5mm tape. I shot Tamiya Sky Grey over them to simulate the non-slip stripes found on H-60's. I then added Mig North Africa dust pigment to the...

    Hobbyboss's 1/48 F-14D VF-101 "Grim Reapers"

I've never seen the hasegawa kit, but the intakes were a royal pain in the ***. Just the usual gaps around the panel areas. Tim

Scratchbuilt 1/35 UH-60A/L IP and console

I'm also working on another resin detail set coming out later to make the Kitty Hawk MH-60L into a regular vanilla UH-60. I still gotta finish up the rear of the console. I glued the radios on 1 to 2 at a time. Felt like playing with photoetch--YIKES! Sorry for the fuzziness of the pic. It was...

    1/35 KH MH-60L "Super 63"

A little delay in finishing this console as I am helping to create a resin detail set for a AM company who I can't name right now. Here's the console and IP finished. Tim

    1/35 KH MH-60L "Super 63"

A little bit more work on the console. I added the parking brake handle and the chaff dispenser. Just waiting on some Archer rivets to make a circuit breaker panel and I'll be done. That's all for the moment! Tim

    1/35 KH MH-60L "Super 63"

Finally after years of wanting to know information about my friend Joe Pascetti's bird he crewed down in Mogadishu-Super 63, I have been able to befriend many crew chiefs and pilots who were there and was given many pics of OGS and their MH-60L's. So tonight I finally started building it...

    Kitty Hawk's new tooled 1/35 MH-60L

Here's some detail pictures of the new model on a Chinese modeling forum. I must say, it looks gorgeous! But then again, I'm bias seeing I was a crew chief! http://www.moxing.net/2019/0403/9852.html EDIT: Try this!

    Hobbyboss's 1/48 F-14D VF-101 "Grim Reapers"

Thanks, Alot of my work came by watching YouTube videos of Genessis Models and copying what Bobby Waldron did when he built the same model. Tim

    Hobbyboss's 1/48 F-14D VF-101 "Grim Reapers"

MP, I used Tamiya tape and covered it with citadel's agrax earthshade paint. It's not a thick paint, but more like a dark wash. It's a trick I learned from watching Bobby Waldron when he built his HB F-14D over at Genessis Models. Tim

Here's what I've been working on for awhile. This was my 1st stab at a jet, but it's turning out ok. I'm no master class modeler, so it's not perfect. This is what I've got done so far. 20190314_002651 by Tim Hudson, on Flickr 20190314_002717 by Tim Hudson, on Flickr 20190314_002733 by Tim...
