    Revell 1/72 S.E.5a. Because I wanted one.

I built most of the Revell 1/72 biplanes when LBJ was at the helm, and I still have most of them. Perhaps I will take pictures.

    New guy

Welcome, BM. I have using AutoCad (2D only) for years and am trying to learn 3D modeling for printing. I look forward to picking your brain! Just starting on Fusion, Blender didn't seem to work for me.

Fokker VIII 1/48th scale by Eduard.

That looks like the same age as the Eduard Siemens Schuckert D.IIIa I built, kit 8001, which I am certain was their first WW I model. I recommend you go to one of the newer Eduard biplanes before you try this one, I have the Dragon D.VIII and every once in a while I look at the parts, and...

Not scared, but thanks all the information.

    Hobbyboss 1/32 Spitfire Mk. 5b

It appears I never put up the finished pictures here for this one, due to medical issues now resolved. The last photo is with the Spitfire prototype K5054 made with the Revell Mk II kit and a Paragon conversion set. Of note is that the model reflects GL*B as it is now. When in service it had...

    Revell P-51D-5

Getting closer. Tamiya Dark Green and Medium Sea Grey, the colors for Passion Wagon. Sadly I do not share such passion for this kit! All will be forgiven (but not likely forgotten) once it gets to the display case.

Ready for battle! Looks great, Bob.

    Wingnut Wings Sopwith Triplane

The castor oil isn't from the valve train, Chris. It is slung out of the exhaust ports on the cylinders. That's why you never see a rotary without a cowling, it's the only thing redirecting the mess downward.

    1/48 Grumman Albatross CSR-110 (HU-16B)

What a project! Lovely work, well researched obviously. I actually saw a tri-phibian Albatross once, somewhat derelict at a Central California airport, perhaps Visalia.

    Revell P-51D-5

Thanks for the comments and interest, troops! Fuselage is together with only some small gaps aft of the radiator outlet. Hopefully I am over the hump on this one now.

    Revell P-51D-5

Back on this one now. Yes, I did rip it apart, luckily with no damage to the innards other than popping the seat out, but that will be OK, just needs to be re-glued. I am only using the fuselage shells from the partial kit I bought so I'll have lots of extra parts. If the carpet monster...

    AZ Model 1/72 Bell X-2

I started this while I was waiting for parts for the Revell 1/32 P-51D. Thought I would see what would happen if I tried one of these no locating tab small part kits with my really shaky hands due to recent medical treatments. It has been a challenge but I am getting there. I didn't do...

    Revell P-51D-5

Thanks, Chris! Steve, that should be the same kit. I think the only differences between the two issues are the aft fuselage sections.

    Revell P-51D-5

I was really disappointed in how this one was turning out. I could deal with the gaps on the fuselage seams and the wing fit, but there is no way to disguise the fit of the windscreen which only fits if the fuselage is closed up properly in that area. I bought this kit when it was first...
