Loose sand will get blown off steel panels or slide while moving, especially the angles ones, which will leave the grime behind with some texture mixed in here and there. :hmm::good:

Edges = all of the top surface panel edges/ recesses and bolts - but keep it subtle and stop when you like it.. Not much on the verticle stuff but build it up where a panel meets the horizontal. This close-up show the subtle dry dust effect on verticle panels - the final layer of dust done...

Just build on top, but the finish needs to be dead flat and it isn't at the moment - AK ultra flat (acrylic base) to flaten and then spirit based weathering layers that won't interact with the flat coat.

Ditch the gloss baby! 2. flat coat it and stay that way for the remainder of the weathering process. 3. use diluted...

    The latest Something I 've been doing.........5 x WW1 Armoured cars - 31st Jan 2026

DO IT! I will do one for myself with a heap of battle damage and rust so that it looks as though it is just hanging in there. The body shape and front grille are beggin' for it, so I will give the commision job (above) a bit of a test with a milder version.:hmm::devil: I am fighting the call of...

    MODERN RUSSIAN ARMOUR - T-72BA [B 1990 model] in UKRAINE (update 25th Nov 2025)

The base is cut and made to match the T80U and the T72B3M. I want all of these modern Russian armour projects to have the same base so they appear as a collection.
