    VF-162 MiG Killer - F-8E Crusader (1/72 Academy)

I used to work for a guy that 2K+ carrier launches on the gunfighter. Interestingly per him the F8 was used to develop the swing wings and the Phoenix missile for the F14, for which he was a test pilot in his later career Neat build!

Does Merkava IV with Trophy have that white barrel stripe?

I'm referring to the stripe that runs down the barrel, not the rings. Does this latest version of the Merkava carry that? Anyone know?

    Hobbyboss Merkava IV w/Trophy

Well yesterday it was warm enough that I was able to FINALLY get paint on this! One thing I mg I’m learning is that if you build a Merkava, put the ball chain armor on LAST!!! More repair work to do but it came Out nice, that Hataka paint is great stuff! Easy to mix and lays down flat and easy

    Masterpiece Models Pibber upgrade

I have to admit I too want to get in on this, but that’s not for another year at least! On the book cover is a Swift boat. Interestingly I’m the late 80’s there was a scuba dive company out of Panama City FL that had a fleet of five. They worked very well for scuba in the Gulf of Mexico. Two...

    Last 747 being delivered

Amazon has a documentary out about the life of the 747, including many pilots design engineers and the like. Interestingly there is a whole bit at the end showing who still uses them

    FINISHED Magach 6B Gal Batash

Well here we are at only about 5 hours or so. Went ahead worked thru the drudgery of the wheels, and pretty much finished off the lower hull. This kit is admittedly showing it’s age, but my parts didn’t have too much warping, and no sink marks (so far). This kit has the belly armor and it kit...

    FINISHED Magach 6B Gal Batash

So figured I’d start something new. As most know I have a bit of fascination with Middle Eastern/Israeli subjects. Got this at the Columbia SC AMPS show last year. Israel never throws anything away it seems, and this is one of the most up-dated & up-armored versions of the venerable M60. Yes, I...

    Missing-Lynx……missing?

I go to this forum periodically to see new stuff and see what’s going on in the modeling world. I notice it hasn’t been updated since December 16. Anyone know why? I cannot find an announcement that they will be closed for the holidays, but I would have thought them to update by now?

    Re-starting….JS-2

And here after a TON of work, we have the finished item! I was going for depth & detail here, so there is much to see, from the ditching log & fuel drum leak (idea courtesy Mike Trent) and the rope to hold it (idea courtesy Eric Rains), to the broken cable bent fenders and all the rest Best...

    Re-starting….JS-2

I wanted this to be a cross of sorts, having the look of a monument yet show the tank as it would be in the field. So I primered it gray and then hit with some of that Rustoleum textured paint
