    I really like how you're doing the base coat, so random yet it's not. I've seen a very large halftrack being built and they have it absolutely monochrome in OD. removes any realism in any scale.

    Well I was worried about this. The IP didn't feel right, I could not get it to snug all the way down in the slot that it fits into, thought it was close enough. I could not get the panel to snug down far enough to fit right so I had to trim the surface where it mates to the IP. That worked...

    Do the peddles come with an alignment jig? I'd hate to get dinged for a peddle being out of alignment. I see one of them has a little spider with it.

    Sounds like back in ND, during winter we didn't drive on pavement, just the packed ice that had sand on top of it. By the time spring thaw came the roads were rutted like the Oregon trail.
