The 1/700 ambulances I cain't sell for the 1/700 Firehouse and Firetrucks I cain't sell are coming along pretty well. Leftover 1/700 YMS-1 decals were used for the roof ID numbers.

A mist-coat of Tamiya smoke over LP-48 (super) Sparkling Silver gives the cast dolphins a subdued look. They go on the front of the display case. I don't want it to look like "LOOK! A SHINY DOLPHIN PIN! Oh, and there's a submarine in there too." A flat coat may be in the offing as well.

Another interesting use (to me) for tamiya X-22 clear has been discovered. Applying dabs on little-to-tiny flaws, waiting until it cures and gentle wet-sanding fills same. One glue joint, paint and a scale shark mouth would make a fine Fleet Snorkel USS Torsk. Tempting, but doesn't truly...
