Geschutzwagen Tiger (Grille 17) by Trumpeter

Hello Tony. Yikes ! That thing is a beast!. I like the juxtaposition of the Hetzer for scale. That's a great picture of the GIs posing inside as well. It looks like they are 1/2 scale figures photoshopped in. I am once again surprised to discover a vehicle that I did not know existed. I like to...

    Quick Question - Airbrush Cleaning

Lacquer thinner. I buy and use the commercial stuff from the hardware store. I decant it into a small plastic squeeze bottle that lets me parcel out a few drops at a time (or a good squirt) It takes care of any dried on acrylic in short order. Cheers, Bill

Tamiya Hanomag Sdkfz251 Fading effects, tools Thanks Bob! Thanks Terry! The kit comes with five figures. I'm just going to use the gunner . The details (straps, etc. )are a bit oversize, but it makes it easier to paint. :) The breadbag, gasmask, etc. are accessories from misc. Dragon kits...

Tamiya Hanomag Sdkfz251 : Thanks & Over and out!

Tamiya Hanomag Sdkfz251 Decals & Camo Hello Brb, The short answer is "color modulation" which is just the current rage term for lightening (or darkening :idonno ) the base color. In my case, I just added a lighter color (white or a tan) to the base color and sprayed that in those areas that...

Tamiya Hanomag Sdkfz251 : Thanks & Over and out!

Tamiya Hanomag Sdkfz251 Decals & Camo I applied decals first and clear coated over the top of them to seal them. I attempted to achieve a look that depicted a vehicle that had arrived behind the lines with it's base yellow color and with its markings, and then had some camo applied in the...

    Adam Wilder video series.

I stumbled upon this recently. Sorry if it is old news or repetitive. 14 part series (so far), demonstrating finishing techniques. A lot of things that a lot of you are familiar with, but still nice to look over the shoulder and see how it's done. An excellent (imh opinion) production with...
