Panzer III Ausf J. Das Werks, 1/16 scale.

Got the fenders on and the spare roadwheel sets made (not attached yet). May not seem that big of a deal, but there's a lot of sanding with the huge sprue gates. You'll go through some sanding sticks! I've also decided to beat this Panzer up, dented fenders and wasted paint. Something I don't...

Yeah. The fix was the limit for the in car engine work according to Porsche. 15 hrs labor cost. He was just glad I didn't ignore the check engine light. Said it would have been much worse.

    MFH Abarth 1000-SP 1/12 FINISHED

After looking at the this performance of building. I need to give up and listen to my wife when she hears me grumbling about my humble modeling efforts. She says just make it out of some putty, tape and be happy. Excellent build!

With the engine pretty much done it's time to get to work on the tender. I've shortened it's length to be more of the right size needed for a smaller engine like the 2-4-0. Scraping off the oversize molded rivets, and probably end up cutting the entire molded front out and rebuilding it.

    Visited the Squadron headquarters.

I've been wanting to checkout the new Squadron location and since I ran out of primer I decided to go. The crazy thing is the new headquarters/shop/ online order warehouse is less than 15 miles from my home in Ringgold, Ga. The physical store is not big, but they do keep certain supplies and a...

At one point we were clinging to a mountain ridge wagon path. Solid rock on one side and a straight down drop on the other when the GPS said make a U turn if possible 😅

My wife likes the Macans. We have a 2011 Audi A 5 Quattro. It has close to 120k miles. Besides the normal things like battery and brake pads the only issue it's had was the alternator, which I was able to replace myself. It was right in front and on top. Plus the 2011 didn't need to be...

Our dealership is no different. The place is immaculate. Even the restrooms are elevated. Everyone that works there seems to love their job. It's been a pleasant experience everytime I go. This time I got to watch them move a 300 thousand dollar Carrera 911 out of the show room for a photo...

The wife's Cayenne suffered a water pump failure. However, it also affects the the vacuum system, which becomes the real problem. Of course it's a Porsche dealer only fix, that's fine with me though, as I trust they're mechanics on these cars. I mean when I notice the tech talking to me has the...

I've decided to go ahead and wire the class lights. Ordered 2.5 mm 12v grain of rice bulbs. Of course, like a lot of parts on this build the lamps have to look the part, yet be removable. That has proved to be the most challenging task of the build for me. I'm turning the lenses from clear plastic.
