Got a letter from our Porsche dealer today. Very nice of them. Although I'm not sure if it's such a good thing or not that we're using first names now with the Service Dept. Head 🙃

Penny calls the rear engined Porsche trunk the "frunk" 😅

Wiring conduit added. And the pic I used for reference.

I used this pic as a guide line for the Pz III.

I have no idea, but I think it comes up through where the main headlights are mounted. Then onto the fender mounts.

Ok, enough playing around. Working on wire conduit to the lights.

Nothing is glued, yet just test fitting the Vorpanzer plate. I've read a few modelers had fit issues with it. I had no problem with mine.

Thanks! They are there. I have to say I got so mesmerized by the rest of that epic build I almost forgot why you sent me there!

Next up was the antenna cradle. The three brackets looked way to thick for what they do, to me. Rather than make new ones I chose to thin the kit brackets. I also added bolt heads for attaching to the deck. It looks better. I have all of the tools finished and ready for paint

Mine may have gotten cooked at sea in shipping container...🤣

My hull sides had a significant concave warp. I used them to spread the hull straight again. Must be just the luck of the draw as Paul said his isn't warped. My fenders were also warped, but easily straighted out once glued to the hull.

I am. It's interesting that this kit doesn't supply them (Takom's P I ausf A kit had excellent wiring moldings). I haven't came across any pics of how they ran on the real thing, yet. I did find a build video showing the modeler adding them. Whether they are accurate or not Idk. They look right...

I agree, at least with the Das Werk & Takom kits.

There's a sheet of PE in this kit, but yeah, in general I think they do pretty good with plastic at this scale.

Just plugging away at the tools. The jack block had a funny attempt at wood grain, that's going the wrong way. So I tried to make it look better. Most of the time is spent sanding parting lines on the parts.

Alright, I couldn't continue until my track sag issue was satisfied. The problem was adding a link made the tracks look just to loose, but without it they seemed to tight. I needed a half link. Paul's comment on adjusting the Idler got me looking at it. He's right in that once on the hull it's...

Thanks for making my mind up, Paul 👍. Tight tracks it is.

Started adding some of the stuff to the fenders. Since this is a 3 in 1 kit for different variants I'm paying close attention for the location of the tools and where they go on the Vorpanzer version I'm doing. The decks are just dry fitted. Mine took some work to get them to mate up and fit...
