I started this project on New Year's Day and completed it last night in time for my wife's birthday which was today. The figures are from Masterbox which for injection molded figures were pretty decent. I did not modify them in any way, which is rare for me, but I thought they told a good story...

You did a really good job on the outhouse, Ski. Is there a floater in the bucket? Although gross to some audiences, that would be a realistic touch not commonly found in other scenes I have seen of outhouses.

After trying out various background colors and light sources in my pop up photo booth, I found the grey background works the best. Here are some better photos. Some may seem like duplicates but for those that do, focus on objects or figures in those photos are a bit different.

I just completed the figure of 1LT Brice Barnes with the exception of the light weathering that I will apply before mounting him to the base. He is buying baguettes to go along with some venison sausage his dad had sent him. The Vietnamese money is from ETA Diorama Accessories.

Hopefully I wouldn't jack it up. That would be interesting to try out one of these days...and I do have the Scale 75 Black and White paint set...
