Cool! Move your bench at the store to a more secure location that you can lock up.

The purple skin glue is basically a super glue and unless you "SCRUB" it, it will stay put till it is ready to fall off. I am sure if you were to scrub it there would be the warning "IT HURTS" feeling, and as most doctors would say, "If it hurts, don't do it."

Hate to say this, but if you are not there and it is accessible, people with sticky fingers will find a way to do Hobbit habits. I would never leave any of my stuff out where John J Public could get to it.

I was thinking that as well, but don't really see any way to do it properly. After reading Paddy's problems with these kits and how expensive and exclusive they are, I wouldn't even look into them. I would rather scratch build something new.
