    The MFH Rescue Centre

This is a build that continues to throw up surprises... I have rebuilt the wheel i had to strip down as it had the rear rim on the front hub But when i came to build the rear wheel.....they dont give you a jig. Basically you only get a jig for the larger front wheel so you will have to make...

Its always hard to find pictures of what you are actually building with these vintage cars and bikes. Original pictures are the only way to get it right as all survivors over the years have had alterations and parts replaced. So really pleased to find this Brough made loads of versions of...

    The MFH Rescue Centre

I think we all have given up with a kit at some point, i know i have with alarming regularity. 🤣 These MFH models are a challenge even for experienced modellers because the method of construction is so different from conventional kits. Obviously this is the basic frame in white metal. the...

    The MFH Rescue Centre

Ok so i found out what went wrong here for the last builder. MFH made 2 versions of this bike, a 1926 model and a 1934 model. they only give a parts list for the 1926 model I have the 1934 model which is a much more recent issue. The early model had wheels the same size. the later had a larger...

Blades stowed in this 1/35 scale Greg, saves having to buy a bigger house 🤣 I dont know if the tail folds but if it does it works well with folded rotors (on my RN lynx)

Have i got a treat for you today ? not just 2...but 3 out of focus pictures you lucky people :-) I stripped down the work that had already been done on this model using Acetone, spirits, paint stripper and a roll of kitchen paper towel :) One of the beauties of these models is they are 95%...

Someone has assembled part of the engine and put it in the frame and assembled one wheel. unfortunately he has hand painted the black parts and they look awful. First job is to see if i can get this all apart and...

    Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

2 for me today 1st one is pretty straight forward and one that you dont often see built 2nd is a nightmare in a box :) MFH Brough Superior 1/9 I bought this in an online auction where it was pictured very neatly with no assembled parts on view. On picking it up i was bit worried that i might...

1971 Tamiya blast from the past

You know how it is Bob, you either gel with a build or you dont. Its not a subject that interests me tbh , too modern, i like the vintage stuff, i just bought this cheap in an auction and the truth is, the box was huge and i wanted the space :) Taling of auctions... i bought another half built...

1971 Tamiya blast from the past

1/6 Tamiya CR750 I'm calling this done. there are a lot of flaws in this, it really is the road bike with racing body work which is ok but far from correct.. The supplied decals were completely useless so i went for an early scheme and printed my own decals for tank etc and i sprayed the...

Going all in on 1/16 scale Armor.

I have done a similar thing with vehicles moving to 1/9 for bikes and 1/12 for cars, My first love will always be aircraft but i cant do the detail in 1/48 -- 1/32 and 1/25 is just to large to display.

1971 Tamiya blast from the past

I was sorting through some old decals today looking for something i could make some number boards out of for my fairing when i found an old sheet of 1/32 Corsair decals VFA192..... they very nearly match hondas 1970 faring design. I think had these been 1/48 i might have gotten away with it :-)

1971 Tamiya blast from the past

I am new to printing Decals, i have done it before but never had great success the decal on the tank is identical to the one i printed for the otherside :-) but when its on the tank the yellow turns red.. this was printed on clear paper so i didnt have to cut very carefully round this shape...
