Eduard 1/48 Spitfire Mk.IXc Got the invasion stripes on. My method wasn't much different from Dave's except that I sprayed the underside coat and the ocean grey on top first: I can't speak for Chef but I had a devil of a time masking around the fuselage and keeping everything straight...

The sprue comes with 20 of them and the kit uses 16. If you can't figure anything else out, you are welcome to those. Four is better than none. I checked them against 1/48 aircraft spinner polycaps on the off chance they were the same, but they are about twice the size.

What's kinda funny about that is I dumped a bottle a few years ago on one of those expensive Hobbyco mats and it completely ate through the green covering. Just melted it. I've dumped Tenax on this el-cheapo sewing mat from Hobby Lobby twice and all it did was take the paint off.

Looks great so far :drinks Yeah, the plastic is pretty soft. I found that I need a very light touch with the X-Acto or I risked gouging the parts. The polycaps are in the bag with the hull parts, or at least they were in my kit. It took me forever to find them until I had looked everywhere...
