    Possibly my new obsession...

I definitely could've used your help putting in the gate Duke! There's a little over 11 acres. 3 of it is yard, 5 is pasture, the remainder is woods. The subdivision/apartment complex developers building all around us would love to get their greedy paws on it. Ain't gonna happen!

    Possibly my new obsession...

I'm going to be gone all day and I'm taking my gate with me 😜 Relocating a pasture gate. From one end of the property to the other. It was the perfect job for the 8N and the boom pole It was a workout for me too...haha. Moving the gate was the easy part. If only the tractor could dig post holes...

Panzer III Ausf J. Das Werks, 1/16 scale.

I'm now a fan of Das Werk.

Panzer III Ausf J. Das Werks, 1/16 scale.

First let me say the tooling on this kit is excellent and so far the fit is very good. Working on the suspension. It's pretty involved with several parts to build into a larger part, like the road wheel arms. The torsion design is functional and works well. However it's sitting like a car...

    Chattanooga Modelcon member meet up.

Excellent showing Paul. It's hard to believe that model was built in the 80's.

    Oh happy days!

I believe Free Time bought Squadron. I'm just catching up on all of this, didn't even know Squadron filed for bankruptcy a few yrs ago. It's just mind blowing, for me, #1 they're this close and #2 they know exactly where our little town of Cohutta is...haha. I'm going there Monday to check it...

    Oh happy days!

If I can just drive up the road a couple of miles to purchase a can of Tamiya primer, in this area, rather than having to order online they could be shady-er than Al Capone and I'd still mind my own business. 😉

    Chattanooga Modelcon member meet up.

6 entries. My old age miss heard him. Thought he had 4. I maybe should've took a couple of builds. Just for the hell of it.

    Oh happy days!

While in the Squadron booth at the Chattanooga IPMS show I was talking with one of their representatives who told me Squadron just moved from Texas to Ringgold, Georgia. That's like less than 10 miles from my house. I was a bit stunned when he said that. I said your kidding!?...Squadron has...

    Chattanooga Modelcon member meet up.

Just got back from IPMS show in downtown Chattanooga where I met up with Heavens Eagle (Paul). We had a good conversation at the contest table. It was great hooking up with another MA member! He had four entries on display. I enjoyed getting to see some of his handy work close up. The pics don't...

One model on my 1/16 bucket list is a US Halftrack.

    Panzer I Ausf. A

Yes. The closer it gets to 1-1 scale the better I say! I like everything about working the 1/16 scale. I also think the finished builds present themselves well when displayed. They do take a lot of paint, though. The Panzer III I'm starting on makes the Panzer I look like it's built in a...
