Looks fine mate, don't panic. :) Just noticed that your barrel had all the thermals intact and I just wanted to show you some options on melted parts as well as the colors the jackets go once heated. You are right some jackets stay intact and others melt. :good:

What a great job. I have heard of modellers using cork sheets to get the crack effects for simulated concrete but this is the first time I have seen it done - wonderful finish! ..........:tens: and yeah, think of all the detritis, rock, rubble and broken stuff you could have on the base to...

Rust coat looking spot on mate! Here are some more pics for you of knockouts, with a focus on the thermal barrel covers, as they melt and burn quite easily. I hope these help you with mods and colors. :Drinks::dude::ro::good:
