Only thing I see that stands out off, is the cat tails green is too green. It looks like plastic (which it is). Other than that it looks perfect. All the other colors, leaves, grass, figures are perfect. Do a few photos in B&W and a person would be very hard pressed to tell it is a model.

Looks like there was a passenger in the back part. He got more than he paid for. Flew in a Spitfire and got to ride out a crash landing.

That is exactly what draws me to a build in many cases. It isn't the subject usually, it is the challenge to build parts of it.

Unless you are using a torch, the ceramic blocks are way overkill. Some ceramic floor tile will work just fine for anything you are doing with a soldering iron.

I think I am going to have to find one of those kits.

Sorry to hear you are hurting Greg. Those front bays are looking really good. Don't push it. Wish I could offer some suggestions to ease your back pain. I have had my issues, but learned how to adjust it when it does bother me so the discomfort is less and passes quickly.

Yeah Steve, I will occasionally build smaller, but I prefer the detail hog 1/32 scale builds.

As this was designed for gaming, it is a LOT tougher than a regular model would be. It looks to be fairly nicely detailed though which should make it a good teaching aid. Who makes it?

Mowed my yard for the first time this year tonight. I try to do it right after work during the week in the summer. That way it doesn't mess up the weekend.

I also have the Fine Molds kit in my stash. The Bandai 1/72 scale kit is actually a bit larger than the Fine Molds kit.
