A bit of progress. I sprayed a few gloss layers, then did some polishing to hide the decal film and in the end sprayed a coat of semigloss lacquer. I've also atached the landing gear and thats it for now. Next,I need to mask cockpit window frames and wing leading edges to paint them. Thanks...
