    During a move the tail wheel on my Trumpeter 109G-2 broke off and is gone. I have searched for after market with no luck. Is there any company that sells a tail wheel? Can I resin cast my own? Thanks.

    Flitz!

    I would like to hear more about canopies. I have tried many polishes and it really was not worth the effort. Better with polish, but not shiny enough to do it again.

    Make Your Own Acrylic Thinner

    I forgot where I got this. Tamiya Acrylic thinner is: Water 54.9175% Secondary Butanol 19.9700% Normal Propyl Alcohol 14.9775% 3-methyl-3-methoxy Butanol 9.9850% Additives 0.1500% (of which there may be more than one!)

    German Mottles

    My 2 cents. Air pressure is 10 to 15 psi. Airbrush is within an inch of the model. Paint is thinned no less than 50/50 and I add flow release and retarder. If the mottles are too dark you can go back over the mottles with the base color thinned 10/90 (yes 10% base to 90% thinner).
