    1/32 Eurocopter EU-135

Yup, I started doing that about half way through, when I realized how deep I was going, and knew I didn't want to go all the way through.

    1/32 Eurocopter EU-135

Its been a fight, that's for sure, but I think I might have finally made enough room to make it fit. I was really worried I was going to grind all the way through the fuselage halves but I didn't, but it got pretty thin in a few places. I was also using my coarsest emory boards to sand down on...

    1/32 Eurocopter EU-135

Spent time the last few days working on this thing, and it sucks. I'm really hating this kit. Right now I'm in the process of using my dremel to dig out a slot along both halves of the fuselage to help to accommodate the overly wide interior. From what I can tell, the interior is approximately...

All Righty ... What's on the bench today?

Working on my EU-135 helicopter, and its rapidly approaching the point where I find out just how well it flies before hitting the wall. The fit on this thing is horrid. Having to grind, cut & sand like crazy to attempt to get the interior to fit into the fuselage. The interior appears to be...

    1/32 Eurocopter EU-135

Picked this up in the raffle at my model club at the end of April, and figured what the heck, looked like a pretty simple build. Kit is Revell Germanys 1/32 Eurocopter EU-135. This particular version is the Stockholm, Sweden police department helicopter. First impressions right out of the...

    AH-64A APACHE

Very nice! Have always really liked the Apache, and I think you're off to an excellent start. I too was unaware there was a 1/35 version. I knew that Revell had a 1/32 but had no clue anyone had done one in 1/35.

We hope to see y'all at Eagle Quest!!!!

I'd hoped things would change, but unfortunately things are exactly the same, so I know that I'm not going to be able to go. Kills me, b/c I was really looking forward to it, but life has a way of getting in the way of things.

    Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Latest Acquisitions Got my CTAII package today from Hubert aka dewertus. Mirage Hobby "Kubus" armored car, and a very nice book with lots of nice images. Book is entirely in Polish, so I'm not able to read it, but I do have a coworker who is Polish (his parents I think are from Poland, so...

TOOL TIME - Homemade Paint Booth

TOOL TIME - Workroom Rework I picked up one of these last year, and I don't think mine is quite as bad as your's but I do have the same issue with mine. Thankfully it wasn't overly expensive, but I do wish I'd gone ahead & returned it, but oh well.

    Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Latest Acquisitions Had a couple sheets of decals show up today. Been an interesting story to go w/ these. Took part in a Christmas raffle on the Aircraft Resource Center website, and I won a sheet of 1/48 F-14 Tomcat decals. So the guy who put them up, got them mailed out to me in early...

Dale Earnhardt Jr 2001 All Star Game car

I want to say I remember reading somewhere that there was a debate on whether it was a pure white or a pearl white, but I haven't looked in awhile. And I was going to attempt to use the pillar decals, just so that all of the colors matched, but I'm prepared to paint them if I have to.

Here's my entry for the Pro Racing campaign. Dale Earnhardt Jr's 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo, run in the July 2001 Pepsi 400, to commemorate the 2001 Major League Baseball All Star Game. Dale Jr. ran a total of 5 baseball related cars, for 5 consecutive years, commemorating either the All Star...
