Bit of an update. Things are progressing slowly. As I expected, overall fit was mediocre, as best, and horrible at worst. It's taken quite a bit of putty to smooth things out, and a lot of places still arent great, but better than they were, so I think I'm getting close to the end of cleaning...

Impressive! I'm beginning to have a thing for all these different ballistic missile launchers that are coming out. I've got the Chinese launcher Trumpeter put out several years ago, and really liking the look of the newer kits that are coming out.

Since today is my b-day, spent the day relaxing, and trying to make progress on my turd helicopter model. Making progress but man I'm getting tired of sanding out all the putty it's taking to clean this thing up.

I thought about making a mold for the canopy, I've got some .015" clear styrene sheet, but I'm not 100% sure doing that would work, so I think what I'm going to do is shim the 2 halves of the fuselage apart at the nose, to make it fit the windscreen, and then keep it the same at the rear...

I'm about to the limit on this build. I'm having to fight the urge to just throw every last bit in the trash and walk away from it. I fought for several days to get the interior to fit inside the fuselage. After a lot of sanding, cutting & grinding, I finally got the fuselage halves to close up...
