Saw a gorgeous steam locomotive this weekend

It's the first time I've ever seen an active steam locomotive (outside of an amusement park) and it was very cool to see. They definitely did a very good job on the restoration, it looks amazing. Here's a picture that was posted on the Trains Magazine Facebook page this weekend, taken at the...

    1/32 Eurocopter EU-135

I did work on fitting the windscreen to the fuselage, and I had to sand some off the center windscreen brace to make it fit like you suggested, and it appeared to fit pretty good after doing that. I've had half the windscreen curing after coating it w/ future. Had to polish out some accidental...

    1/32 Eurocopter EU-135

Fitting of the windscreen has started, and your suggestion has helped a lot. I wanted to get all the work done on the fuselage done before I started working on final fitting on the wind screen, but I have worked on it some, and it's definitely fitting a lot better, I just haven't taken any pic's...

    1/32 Eurocopter EU-135

A milestone for this build I think, finally got paint down on it. Should be turd brown but went with primer grey instead. I keep hoping at some point that this thing will turn around and start getting better but so far its never ending, haha. Overall I dont appear to have to do as much clean up...

We hope to see y'all at Eagle Quest!!!!

Yea, this guy has been difficult to deal w/ from the beginning, and I've made the decision I'm not going to do any more work for him after this project. Only problem is that so far he's the only person I've done any freelance work for, so its double edged not doing anything for him anymore.

I was hoping to have a freelance project finish up in time, and end up actually having the money, but now the guy has dropped off the face of the planet and isn't responding to my emails.

    Torpedo campaign

Flagship Models has a CSS Hunley kit, and according to the homepage, they also have a CSS David torpedo boat. CSS Hunley CSS David I recently picked up a 1/48 S-3 kit, so I'd have something else besides my 1/32 TBM to do for this campaign. Very hot to build this one, so I'd probably do the...

    1/32 Eurocopter EU-135

Oh man, thats the truth! It's real interesting to have to go blow my nose after sitting at the bench for awhile, and I end up w/ Bondo on the tissue, haha. Made some progress last night. Started working on taping up all the window openings to put down some primer. Sometimes I think masking...
