    Neverland Models HMS Victory

I went on board the Warrior a few years back. A very impressive ship from the Victorian era Royal Navy. That little Victory model, subject of this thread looks very impressive considering its diminutive size. Neverland models is a new name to me as a manufacturer and the inclusion of PE...

How to mess up your pictures (or using a light box) :-)

I don't use a light box at all. My normal temporary setup is done on my work desk. It.is very simple being a piece of wood batten held in a swivel vice that has a sturdy heavy base. I clip a large sheet of plain paper to the batten to make a seamless background for the model. Lighting is what I...

1/96 Revell USS CONSTITUTION on the slipways (wip)

One of two hatches in the closed position might actually add extra interest to the model. That old Revell 1/96th scale Constitution is reckoned to be a very good kit of the vessel and worth putting in the time on it should result in a very impressive model.

    revell 1/110 HMS Bounty, wip

This thread caught my eye, but I could not open any of the pictures. From the text it looks like it would be a very interesting build to have followed.

    MFH models

Paddy's comments about the older Pocher Classic car kits is spot on. Back in the day they were hyped up and revered almost to cult status. I have their original Mercedes kit to build where the wire wheels have to be built up with individual spokes. Apart from the wheels, I have done nothing...

New on here but been around a while.

Hi! My name is Noel Smith. I am UK based and my prime interest is in auto modelling, but also have an interest in sailing and sail/steam era ships. Sometimes though, other subjects just take my fancy to have a go at. I have had moderate successes over the years at the IPMS UK Scale Modelworld...

    Italeri Bugatti 1/12 FINISHED

Didn't know that Paddy ! Maybe if I approach Italeri they might sell me a spare wheel and tyre? We will see !

    Italeri Bugatti 1/12 FINISHED

I have the race version still to build. The road going version is a logical progression by Italeri. Must admit that I was disappointed that no spare wheel and tyre was included in the first version as it included a spare wheel holder on the PE fret. Curious?

    Italeri Bugatti 1/12 FINISHED

Just joined this forum and had to look at this model build. A masterful use of painting technique to make it look as though it's been around the block a bit ! Superb build and very nicely displayed.
