My experience with Eduard decals is not a Good one. Somehow pink Russian starts were not to my liking . Talked with the Eduard crew at the Nat.s in Columbia .... They were of no help at all. So, I Emailed Eduard about the decal problem and nicely enough , they sent me a new sheet with...

That's an idea . It does not look beyond your ability . I guess they were trying to keep the price of the kit down but there are not that many alternatives . I remember building the Pete and it had a float option , so that it could sit flat . Cheers, Christian

Personally , I would do the wave pattern . No one ever does that and I don't think you could go wrong . Cheers, Christian

I only do a small section at a time . Repeat if necessary . Rinse under a faucet when ready to paint . The water also neutralizes the static charge caused by sanding . Cheers, Christian

Some of the aftermarket decals are on a silver background . Probably silver dope . It looks grayish unless you see it up close . No idea what the rule of thumbs is. I think I would go with whatever picture you use for a reference . Cheers, Christian
